Back to Sinister Quin

Sunday, January 9th. 2005 - On a night filled with record breaking torrential down pours, land slides, floods and road closures, miraculously Sinister Quin's premiere  party unfolded in tip top form.

Impressed with the turn out Bill Hill, comedian/actor/MC, kept the party spirits high and in very good cheer as he introduced the crew Quin and Wiz, Sinister Quin.  After much thanks, "props" and gratitude a music video featuring the pair was premiered.

Featuring the track "Consequences" off their debut album "Do You Know Who I Be", silence fell upon the crowd as they watched attentively as the first images appeared on screen.

Quin and Wiz rolled up and then exited, a yellow and white, hot rod, '57 Chevy classic car.  Quin then went on to opening the truths and cached  layers of choice and error, conviction and observation.

The audience was  moved by the poignancy of the intermingled stories, the rich poetic flow and lyrical content, and real-life drama unfolding before them on the screen .  An intelligent and stirring depiction of urban life the video was well received with much enthusiasm and excitement.

The video was a hit!  Directed by Dyke Redman of Heart and Soul Productions and Produced by MorganHaus Records, "Consequences" will soon be on mainstream music video channels as negotiations are in the works.

Sinister Quins CD album "DO YOU KNOW WHO I BE", is now available coast to coast at participating stores (see right).   MorganHaus Records is proudly moving forward into the new year.

SINISTER QUIN is creating a ground swell in the independent hip-hop music genre with its own brand of "poetic hip-hop" sure to please those with a thirst for O.G. raps and urban flare.  A wide depart from the mainstream of over-sampled-sound-bites and the likes.  SINISTER QUIN  is unique and is sure to carve its niche in the growing culture of urban music.
